This Fresh Produce business, with a £60m turnover, wanted to enter the stir fry noodles and sauces sector.

They required a project feasibility study for a completely new stir fry sauce and noodles factory in the UK to supply key leading supermarkets: Asda; Sainsburys; Aldi; Waitrose.

The factory was to be on a new site, located next to an existing site, with the latest processing and packaging equipment and the client requested a complete site plan, including building design and site services.

The feasibility study provided to the client covered operational production, transport, and storage space with processing and packaging equipment design.

Costing included the capital cost, operational expenditure (CapEx), and the cost of operating the facility, including the labour. 

We also looked at the unit cost of producing a bag of noodles and a bag of sauce to help the Board of Directors in making a strategic decision.
